The house
Our family's textile heritage goes back to sixteenth-century India, when our cloth was traded along the Silk Route.
These are the smallest clothes we have made, and they are made with the same care.

Our first collection for children is in the making. Every piece is made by hand in the Valaji atelier, as everything we make is, from organic plant fibres. The cloth has no polyester and no plastic in it, and nothing synthetic touches the skin.
Leave your name and email, and we will write when the first pieces are ready and tell you where to see them.
Almost every child in England spends about 195 days a year in school uniform, and most of it is polyester: a fibre made from oil, which sheds tiny plastic fibres as it is worn and washed.
Parents, researchers and campaigners are now asking the government to look again at what children wear every day.
We think the answer should be simple. Our clothes for children are made by hand from organic plant fibre cloth, and nothing synthetic touches the skin.
The first pieces, as they are drawn in our notebook. Photographs of the samples will follow.
